Double Shafts Horizontal Mixer Working Principle

The Double Shafts Horizontal Mixer operates by feeding raw materials into a horizontal mixing chamber through an inlet. Inside, two parallel screw shafts, each equipped with spiral blades set at adjustable angles (22°-35°), rotate in opposite directions. This counter-rotation creates a dynamic mixing zone where materials are lifted, stirred, and transported in a continuous, omni-directional loop. The opposing motion forms a “weightless” environment, allowing materials of varying densities, size, and shape to blend uniformly. An optional spray system can introduce water or liquid additives during mixing to control humidity and reduce dust. Once thoroughly mixed, the materials are discharged efficiently through twin bomb-bay door openings at the bottom, designed to minimize segregation and residue for a clean, high-quality output.
