Single Shaft Mixer Working Principle

The Single Shaft Mixer operates on a straightforward yet highly effective mechanism. A single horizontal shaft, equipped with a double helical ribbon blade, rotates within a U-shaped mixing chamber. The shaft is driven by a cycloidal gear reducer, ensuring consistent and controlled rotation. Materials are introduced through the top inlet, where the spiral blades continuously stir and push the materials in both axial and radial directions. This dual-motion mixing ensures thorough blending, even for materials with varying densities or particle size. Once fully mixed, the homogeneous blend is discharged through the bottom outlet, ready for further processing, such as granulation or packaging.
